A few good questions.
Do I need to know Markdown?
No. SeamText is designed so you can read and edit Markdown as a formatted document without working directly with Markdown syntax.
Does SeamText convert my file into another format?
No. The underlying file stays Markdown. Exporting creates a separate output; it does not turn your original into a proprietary document.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Editing, Word and HTML export, and Copy as Rich Text require a paid plan: Monthly, Annual, or (Direct only) a one-time purchase. Reading, search, outline, PDF export, and printing remain free. Starting the product trial does not subscribe you automatically.
What does SeamText cost?
Direct from IO Patina: $0.99 / month, $9.99 / year, or a $14.99 one-time purchase for SeamText 1.x for one person, with eligible updates released during the first 24 months. Mac App Store: $0.99 / month or $9.99 / year, with no one-time purchase. Prices are in USD; applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Can I use my purchase across supported Apple devices?
SeamText is designed for Universal Purchase. The same purchase is intended to work on supported Apple devices using the same Apple Account as their platform versions become available. See the platform record for current availability.
Where are my documents stored?
In the files and locations you choose. SeamText does not require a private cloud library. If you choose a folder managed by iCloud Drive or another provider, that provider handles synchronization.
How do I restore a purchase or manage a subscription?
Use Restore Purchase in SeamText with the Apple Account used for your purchase. Apple handles subscription management and cancellation.
